These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Employ platform operated by Employ ("we", "us", "our") at getemploy.io. By using our service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Service Description
Employ is an AI employee platform that allows you to deploy and manage AI-powered virtual employees. These AI employees integrate with your existing tools (email, calendar, messaging) and perform tasks on your behalf, communicating via Telegram and other supported channels.
2. Account Registration
To use Employ, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Subscription & Billing
- Employ operates on a monthly subscription model. Each AI employee requires a separate subscription.
- Payments are processed securely through Stripe.
- You may cancel at any time. Your AI employee will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscriptions will honor their current price until the next renewal.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Employ to:
- Engage in illegal activities or violate applicable laws and regulations.
- Send spam, phishing emails, or unsolicited communications.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten others.
- Impersonate real individuals without clear disclosure that the communication is AI-generated.
- Attempt to circumvent security measures or access other users' data.
- Use the service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. AI Disclaimer
AI employees are powered by artificial intelligence and may occasionally make errors, produce inaccurate outputs, or misinterpret instructions. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content and actions should be reviewed by you, especially for important or sensitive tasks.
- You are ultimately responsible for the actions performed by your AI employees on your behalf.
- Employ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated outputs.
- AI employees should not be used as a sole decision-maker for critical business, legal, or financial matters.
6. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of all content you provide to the platform. We retain ownership of the Employ platform, technology, and branding. Content generated by your AI employees on your behalf belongs to you.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Employ is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for actions taken by AI employees, including emails sent, calendar events created, or other integrations performed on your behalf.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Employ and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your AI employees' actions.
9. Staff Access
Employ personnel do not access your data, conversations, or connected tools without your explicit written consent, except as required by law.
10. Security Incident Notification
In the event of a data breach affecting your account, we will notify you within 72 hours.
11. AI Provider Disclaimer
Your conversations are processed by third-party AI models. While these providers commit to not training on API data, Employ cannot guarantee their future policies.
12. Termination
- Either party may terminate the agreement at any time.
- You may cancel your subscription and close your account from the dashboard or by contacting support@getemploy.io.
- We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms.
- Upon termination, all your data — including AI employee configurations, integration tokens, and conversation history — will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and applicable member state laws. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
